How To Use Bitaddress To Encrypt An Existing Bitcoin Wallet

On the Generator app, select Wallet Details from the tab, and enter your private key or master seed directly in the input field and check the "BIP38 Encrypt" box to set a BIP38 encryption password so that your Bitcoin wallet is protected by a password even if your private key/master seed is compromised. Then click "Encrypt BIP38" and click "View details".

For other usages (including single wallet generation, bulk wallets generation, brain wallet generation, et cetera), please select the appropriate label from the menu tab in the Bitcoin wallet address generator app

Note that the wallet generation options—'Single Wallet', 'Paper Wallet', 'Bulk Wallet', 'Vanity Wallet', and 'Split Wallet'—rely on a process called entropy generation, which ensures the security and randomness of your Bitcoin keys. This is achieved using the seeder pool, which collects random data from your mouse movements or other interactions. Before you can select and generate any of these wallets, the seeder pool must reach 100% completion. Once this level is achieved, the tabs will become clickable, allowing you to proceed with your wallet generation securely. Move your mouse around or touch anywhere on your screen (mobile devices) to increase the seeder %
